The ideal candidate will possess senior DBA skills with a focus on Tool/Automation (SAP HANA). Key responsibilities include:
• Operations support within a global team
• Maintaining SLA standards and enhancing customer satisfaction initiatives
Database Specific Requirements:
• Experience with various database concepts for HANA/ASE; additional skills in IQ/SRS/ASE are advantageous
• Knowledge of the SAP product suite is a plus
• Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, and processes
• Involvement in database installations, upgrades, planning, setup, and implementation
• Providing technical expertise to optimize and tune systems
• Organizing and structuring day-to-day documentation
• Continuous support for SAP systems and effective problem-solving
• Development of concepts and tools to resolve issues and enhance efficiency
• Collaboration in international teams, promoting global knowledge transfer and best practices
• Detailed-level database performance optimization
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties and weekend tasks
• Openness to work with additional databases, including HANA and Sybase
• Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, system copy, high availability, disaster recovery strategies, export-import, and replication is essential. A candidate with basis knowledge is preferred.
